To find out what version of Ultrasoft CheckBook you're using, tap on the Options menu in the CheckBook program on your Palm OS® handheld, and select About CheckBook. If you have a version earlier than the number shown above, we recommend that you install the latest version.

Ultrasoft CheckBook 3.0.5 (Aug. 1, 2006)

This update fixes a bug that caused a reset when the Purge menu command was used with no account selected.

Ultrasoft CheckBook 3.0 (Dec. 22, 2004)

Ultrasoft CheckBook version 3.0 contains a large number of improvements, including the top-ten "most requested" features:

1. NEW Budget module lets you manage your budget on your Palm handheld and stay within your spending limits.
2. Support for hi-res devices.
3. Support for extended screen sizes (320x480, 480x320, etc.).
4. Support for 5-way navigation (e.g. Treo 600 & 650, palmOne T3 & T5).
5. New "read only" account and transaction detail views.
6. Selectable fonts, including support for VersaMail fonts.
7. Selectable colors.
8. Improved filtering, with new options so you can find information (including splits) more easily.
9. New "drill down" capability in the Reporter module, so you can quickly find the information behind the report.
10. Improved Register view layout, with selectable columns.

The CheckBook Export Wizard has the following improvements:

1. Export separate rows for split items.
2. Better security: prompt for CheckBook password (if assigned).

Ultrasoft CheckBook 2.1 (May 26, 2002)

Version 2.1 of Ultrasoft CheckBook includes the following enhancements and fixes:

• NEW Export Wizard lets you to export your CheckBook data to CSV files (Windows and Mac).

• Enhanced built-in calculator, including improved currency conversion.

• Ignores the Palm OS ROM currency settings and uses the EURO as the default currency and format for European countries.
